The NGO Platform in Northern and Eastern Syria (NES) held its annual coordination meeting in al-Hasakah Governorate, with the participation of thirty active organizations from the platform's members, at al-Burj/al-Qamishli Hall.

During their discussions, the members addressed the effectiveness of CSOs in NES. This was followed by a dialogue about the situation within the NGO platform and the work accomplished in the past year, as well as a self-evaluation of the executive body and its effectiveness in fulfilling the required work. They also discussed the extent to which the affiliated organizations align with the platform's goals and their capacity to enhance it through collaborative work and networking.

Additionally, the members discussed the upcoming phase and presented suitable visions to broaden the platform's activation and increase its impact internally and externally, in a way that reflects positively on the local community and the region.

The platform will continue its annual coordination meetings in both Raqqa Governorate and Deir ez-Zor in the near future.
