Summary:
ASO Center for Consultancy and Strategic Studies organized a training workshop entitled ''Civil Society's Role and Mechanisms '', where the workshop was held in Amuda city for civil society activists and NGOs members working in Al-Hasaka governorate.

The workshop was within the formwork of ASO Center efforts for supporting civil society organizations for protecting and promoting human rights in Rojava.

The workshop focused on deepening the participants' understanding of basic concepts of civil society and its main principles, the legal framework, mechanisms of civil society, role of civil society in protection and monitoring of human rights and its importance in promoting democratic concepts.
Voluntary work's importance in society was highlighted in the workshop, in addition to the importance of general training on project's management and cycle.
