Ramadan Kareem

On behalf of ASO Center for Consultation and Strategic Studies, we congratulate the Islamic nations on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, the month of charity and virtue, and to turn and wander to the Allah Almighty. Each year, the world a thousand good.
Ramadan is very a superior month for Muslims comparing to other Hijri year months. It is the month of fasting, which is one of the pillars of Islam, where Muslims (except in some cases) abstain from drinking and eating while staying away from desires from dawn until dusk.
Ramadan begins at the confirmation Al-Hilal(crescent moon) sighting on the 29th of Sha'ban. In case if it is not seen, Sha'ban becomes 30 days, so the next day will be the first day of Ramadan, and the period of the month is also 29-30 days when the sighting of the crescent is confirmed.
Ramadan holds a special place in the heritage and history of Muslims, because according to Muslim people, the revelation of the Quran began when angel Gabriel appeared to the prophet[Peace be upon him] in the cave Hira near Mecca, reciting to him the first verses of Surah Al-'Alaq,'' Read! in the name of your Lord who created, ''and Quran was reveled on Laylat Al-Qadr in Ramadan.

Ramadan's Blessing:
- In Ramadan, Heaven gates open and fire doors are closed, so the Muslim will have the utmost opportunity to avoid sin and draw closer to God by worship and obedience acts that bring the Muslim closer to Heaven, away from Fire.
-Fasting imposed-month by the Almighty Allah is Ramadan. It is sins-forgiveness, contentment, getting close to Allah Month. It's also a preyer-answer out of Allahs saying Ramadan is a Quran-Descending month. In that, there is a night considered the greatest night of the year. It is Al qader Night, namely better than a thousand month in worship.

-In fasting, obedience to Allahs' orders is revealed in people of beliefs' spirits, so they forsake their present desires for an absent appointment not ever seen, thus it is a controlling desires month, not being controlling by it.

We pray for Allah for You in this month more good deeds, more sins being forgiven, worry released. I also pray that your smile turns to happiness, your silence into worship, your end is Shahada and your bread(bestow)is in increase. We pray that Almighty Allah accept your good deeds with every single sprinkling of rain and with the number of those who go for pilgrimage.
