

ASO Accomplishes a Training Workshop within Capacity Building of Local CBOs Project in Raqqa

ASO Center for Consultancy and Strategic Studies accomplished a training workshop, on Thursday, within the capacity building project of CBOs in Raqqa through “Zoom” application, on writing project proposals and fundraising.
ASO targeted ten local CBOs operating in Raqqa governorate in NES in the training workshop; which lasted for three days.
The training included several axes, according to its staff such as; fundraising, its definition, importance, fundraising process stages, fundraising responsibility within the organization, fundraising strategy.
The trainer provided an explanation about the external connections for fundraising through participation in meetings related to organizations work, communication and relationship with the financier, as well as, sharing project proposals with the funders.
The workshop also, provided training information on "project proposal concept, what should one know regarding the project design of their proposal, the components of the project proposal mainly, project background, motives, action plan, monitoring and evaluation plan, project sustainability, logical framework, project budget, cross-cutting issues."
The capacity building project of CBOs in Raqqa city aims at developing organizations capacity in relation to planning and strategic planning.
At the beginning of this month, ASO Center for Consultancy and Strategic Studies held the first training workshop within the CBOs capacity building project in Raqqa, which focused on the civil institutions strategic planning.
