ASO Center has Accomplished a Training Workshop on Developing the Strategic Plan for organizations

ASO Center for Consultancy and Strategic Studies has accomplished training sessions on developing a strategic plan for organizations, as part of the capacity building project for CBOs in Raqqa city in NES.

ASO targeted 10 organizations operating in Raqqa governorate in the coaching sessions. The organizations are; “The Civil Cooperation Organization, Hadaf humanitarian, Jasmine, Sanad Humanitarian, Nawaat, Hope Humanitarian Team, Weqaya, Shams, Doz, Hope Makers.”

According to the training team, coaching sessions included several basic axes, such as; “the organization’s vision, mission and value and institutional analysis that identifies the organization’s partners and its strengths and weaknesses. It also, identifies achievements and goals that the organization aspires to achieve during the next 3 or 5 years. In addition to a timetable for achieving these goals and objectives and an assessment of results and mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating the strategic plan.”

The trainer discussed with each organization independently for 4 days the coaching session subjects in detail in order to develop or write the strategic plan for each organization.

The capacity building project for CBOs in Raqqa city aims to develop the organizations' capacity in terms of planning and strategic planning.

ASO Center for Consultancy and Strategic Studies in the first stage within the institutional development project for CBOs in Raqqa city, carried out training workshops on strategic planning, networking objectives, expected results, type and objectives of networks, an introduction to communication and coordination, communication and coordination mechanisms, how to write project proposals and raise funds.
