Session on Youth and Local Media
May, 29, 2024
ASO (Analysis and Strategic Studies Organization) held a discussion session titled "Youth and Local Media" with the participation of 17 attendees. The session targeted institutions working in the media field, both official and independent, as well as a group of active youths in the local community. This event was part of the Youth Forum programs, which were launched recently during the current month.

The session provided an intensive description of the reality of media and its effectiveness in addressing youth issues, as well as the targeting mechanisms used when discussing these issues. It then moved on to listen to the opinions of young people about local media and its impact on them. Following this, the attendees attempted to identify both the subjective and objective challenges facing the media in achieving the desired impact in highlighting youth issues and creating opportunities that can be worked on in the upcoming phase.
