Communiqué Syrian Humanitarian Action & Recovery Conference Local solutions for lasting impact

2025-12-13
The Civil Society Organizations Platform in North and East Syria (NGO Platform) participated in the Humanitarian Work and Recovery Conference for Syria, which brought together more than 150 representatives of Syrian civil society organizations over the course of three days. Participants discussed the current challenges related to humanitarian assistance and reconstruction, and jointly developed practical recommendations directed to decision-makers.

The conference outcomes have been documented in a joint statement, which can be accessed through the following PDF

We extend our sincere gratitude to our partner organizations HELP, ICVA, the Syrian Localization Lab, and the Syrian NGOs for their support in organizing the conference.

The conference results carry encouraging messages and reaffirm the importance of strengthening locally led humanitarian assistance and recovery efforts, contributing to a more stable and equitable future for all Syrians.
