These sessions are part of the initiatives funded by the grant of ASO Center for Consultancy and Strategic Studies within the project of Enhancing Participatory Democracy Approach in Northeast Syria.

This initiative is the first to be implemented in Al-Hasaka city and it is implemented by three local civil society associations, namely Shamal, Bukra Ahla and Xunav.

This grant is provided by ASO Center in response to the official measures to mitigate the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic on the region, some of which were launched at the beginning of November and will continue for a month and a half, to contribute to educating the people on the risks of Coronavirus spread and its negative effects.

It also aims to strengthen women's role to contribute to addressing the Corona pandemic, and to raise awareness of the dangers of domestic violence resulting from the lockdown, and the preventive measures to limit the spread of Coronavirus pandemic.

The grant, which included the civil organizations in the governorates of Al-Hasaka, Raqqa, and Deir Ezzor, covers 13 initiatives, with the participation of a large group of members of the NGO Platform in NES.

The grant of ASO Center for Consultancy and Strategic Studies, aims to develop the foundations for cooperation and networking between local organizations and associations in NES.
