The Annual Coordination Meeting of the Civil Society Organizations Platform in Northern and Eastern Syria, specifically in Raqqa, with the participation of the Executive Body of Deir ez-Zor Governorate, took place. The meeting included the presence of 32 active organizations affiliated with the Civil Society Organizations Platform in Northern and Eastern Syria from Raqqa Governorate, as well as the Executive Body of Deir ez-Zor Governorate. Key points were discussed, with a primary focus on the effectiveness of civil society organizations in Northern and Eastern Syria and their ability to achieve positive impact and change in local communities. The meeting addressed the obstacles faced in achieving desired development and sustainability, as well as the internal situation of the platform and its organizations in Raqqa and the challenges encountered in networking and collaborative work. An evaluation of the work conducted by the Executive Body of the governorate was conducted, highlighting the significant accomplishments made internally and externally on behalf of the platform, ensuring the effective representation of organizations and the platform's visions and goals. Subsequently, an open dialogue was held regarding the future plans of the platform and achievable objectives, aiming to develop and activate the platform's work in general and within the governorate specifically. A crucial aspect of these plans involved establishing clear mechanisms to swiftly respond to momentary challenges faced by the region.
